Bould Consulting provides a full range of property, development and construction advisory services throughout the Caribbean.

Bould Consulting is headed by Martyn Bould who founded and was former Chairman of the BCQS Group of Companies, established in 1969 and have since that date completed a wide range of projects with a value in excess of US$2 billion including hotels, resorts, apartment projects, office and commercial buildings, government and civic projects, audit and feasibility studies, property appraisals and dispute resolution services.

Bould Consulting have taken proven quantity surveying and management skills and developed them to manage construction problems unique to the Caribbean area. These problems include the need to import the vast majority of materials, the use of a limited skilled and efficient work force, immigration controls, and construction contracts unique to the region. Proactive skills have been developed within this environment, analyzing, assessing and assigning risks including constantly confirming material deliveries, work force availability and overall programming to avoid potential time delays and consequent cost implications.

The firm has more than 30 years’ experience in handling complex construction problems on projects throughout the United States, and in Bermuda and the Caribbean. Our expertise includes advising clients in contract negotiations, on performance problems (such as changes, delays, acceleration, and suspensions), and in the documentation, pricing and recovery of claims. We also represent our clients in mediation proceedings and before arbitration boards and courts.
